September 12, 2021 (Mena, Arkansas) - In the tough stretch of their schedule, the Bucks play their second ranked opponent in a row. The Bucks (2-4; 1-3 in Region 2 play) took on the #11 Rose State Raiders this afternoon at Tapley Park. 

In the first half, it was all Rose State. The Raiders would scosre 4 goals in the half; 3 in between the 11th and 16th minutes. The Bucks could not possess in the middle third and kept setting up the Raiders for runs off of the Bucks turnovers. 

After some halftime adjustments, the Bucks played with more effort and started to make runs offensively. One of the runs resulted in penalty kick for Jess Douglas (Gateshead, England). in the 60th minute, Jess made it count to cut the Rose State lead to 4-1. The remainder of the match would go back and forth. The Bucks would miss on several opportunities and fall 4-1.

The Bucks play again at home on Thursday, September 16th, against National Park College. Kickoff is at 12 pm.
