(May 5, 2021) El Reno, Oklahoma – Coming off an overtime win on Sunday against Eastern Oklahoma State College, the Bucks looked to keep the moment going this afternoon against Redlands CC.
In the first half, the Bucks and Lady Cougars went back and forth for much of the half. Remmie Ferla (Corby, England) put the Bucks on the board with a goal in the 23rd minute with an assist from Madison Zamudio (Mansfield, TX). With 12 minutes left in the half, Maddie Tyler (Tulsa, OK) found the back of the net, assisted by Gracie Evans (Shrewbury, England). Redlands added a goal in the half, but the Bucks held a 2-1 lead at the half. The Bucks got off 12 shots in the half.
It did not take the Bucks long in the 2nd half to get it going. Remmie Ferla made her second goal of the day just 6 minutes into the half. About 5 minutes later, Isabelle Ryan (Mansfield, TX) was assisted by Remmie Ferla to extend the Bucks lead to 4-1. With just over 8 minutes left in the match, Remmie Ferla completed the hat trick with a goal assisted by Madison Zamudio. The goal gave the Bucks the 5-1 win.
In the match, Briana Salinas (Fort Worth, TX) made 8 saves and only gave up a goal in the first half. The Bucks put 12 goals on frame in the match.
The win brings the Bucks record to 4-9 on the season.
