(April 28, 2021) Mena, Arkansas - Coming off the loss on Sunday to NOC-Tonkawa, the Bucks looked to regroup against nationally ranked Rose State.
In the first, the Bucks got down 1-0 within the first 12 minutes, but the would make a few runs that led to a Bucks goal. Rhiannon Holmes (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) played a short ball to the left corner Maddie Tyler (Tulsa, OK). Maddie put the ball up and over the keeper to tie the game at 1-1 in the 16th minute. Nine minutes later, Rose State took the lead on a goal that was shot outside the box and through the Bucks keeper's hands. Rose led 2-1 at the half.
In the 2nd half, Rose State added 4 more goals to defeat the Bucks 6-1.
The Bucks play again on Friday against Murray State College. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 am.
