Bucks Set New PRs at Hendrix Alumni Open

(March 11, 2023) Conway, Arkansas – The long wait from the Cross-Country National Championships in Tallahassee, Florida to spring is finally over. The Bucks took a break and started back training in the spring semester, and now, the men get to compete against other runners and teams, besides their teammates. Coach Samantha Shores and the Bucks begin their season in the City of Colleges at the Hendrix Alumni Open against 19 other teams.

This is the last semester for sophomore runners Tyreek Gilkey (Fort Smith, AR), Pablo Hernandez (Springdale, AR), and Trysten Richey (Mena, AR). Richey is currently nursing a hamstring strain that held him out of today's meet.

The Bucks will return to Conway next week for another meet, but this time it will be held at the University of Central Arkansas. The meet begins on Friday, March 17th, and concludes on the 18th.
