
(September 13, 2024) Searcy, Arkansas - Coming off a third place finish at the Bob Gravett Invitational in Arkadelphia, the ladies hit the road again for the Steve Guymon Invitational hosted by Harding University. This is the Bucks third straight week with an upcoming week off.
In Friday evening's race, there were 9 total teams in the 5K. UA Little Rock and UA Pine Bluff were the two DI school represented, while host Harding, Christian Brothers University, Henderson State, & UA Monticello were the NCAA DII schools in the race. The Bucks were joined by Mineral Area College as the only two junior colleges in the race.
As a team, the Bucks finished fourth overall, behind UA Little Rock, Harding, and Christian Brothers.
Individually, the Bucks were led by Darcy Vineyard (Claremore, OK) with a 9th place finish and a 19:31.0. The ladies had a trio of runners that set personal records in the 5K race. There was a total of 70 ladies in the race.

30th - Jadelyn Wood (Mansfield, AR) - 21:29.3 - personal record
37th - Madyson Winn (Greenland, AR) - 22:13.5
40th - Adriana Montiel (De Queen, AR) - 22:31.0 - personal record
41st - Annabelle Cupps (Cabot, AR) - 22:34.6
45th - Avery Carter (Siloam Springs, AR) - 23:01.8
51st - Karen Campos (Pittsburg, TX) - 24:25.6

The ladies have a week off before heading up The Hill to compete in the Chile Pepper Festival on September 28th.
