Mena, Arkansas (August 27, 2021) – The women of Bucks Cross Country kicked off their season this evening at home for the Bucks Season Opener at the Lion's Club. The meet consisted of all NJCAA Region 2 schools: Carl Albert State College, Connors State College, Northwest Arkansas Community College, Redlands Community College, and UA Rich Mountain.
The Bucks would win the 5K race with a PERFECT SCORE, placing in the first 6 places in the race.
Leading the way for the Bucks, Kailey Pentz (Siloam Springs, AR) won the race with a time of 22:54.4.
The remaining competitors for the Bucks finished as follows:

3rd - Eva Miranda-Gudino (Springdale, AR) – 23:29.0
4th - Madison Dettmer (Bryant, AR) – 23:59.9

6th - Emili Bravo Jaimes (Springdale, AR) – 25:09.0
9th - Haley Magueyal-Perez (Nashville, AR) – 26:13.9
12th - Jaquelin De La Fuente (Fort Smith, AR) – 26:26.8
16th - Star Spence (Waldron, AR) – 29:08.4
