
(May 8, 2025) Ardmore, Oklahoma - After a 6-0 win yesterday in Tishomingo over Carl Albert, the ladies hit the field again against National Park College. This time the games were played in Ardmore, where the tournament will conclude at Regional Park. EArlier this season, the Bucks won the region series over NPC, 3-1.
For the second straight game, the ladies shut out their opponent. This time it was a 4-0 win over the Nighthawks.
The Bucks did all of their damage at the plate in the top of the first and second innings. Kate Daigle (Rayne, LA) got it started in the first with a sacrifice fly. Next at-bat, Mallory Cheek (Lumberton, TX) hit a 2-RBI single to centerfield to make it 3-0. The ladies added to their lead in the second on a on a RBI double by Emma Reynolds (Cayuga, TX). The inning started with a double by Kyson Vap (Newkirk, OK) and a single by Linley Collins (Whitesboro, OK).
The 4 runs was all Addisyn Wright (Buffalo Valley, OK) needed in the circle. Wright (13-5) went the distance in the shutout win, giving up 0 runs on 3 hits. She struck out 9 in the game.
The Bucks now advance and will play at 4 pm on Friday afternoon against the winner of Murray State and Western Oklahoma. All games will be played at Regional Park in Ardmore, OK.
