(October 26, 2024) Bentonville, Arkansas - After a great run last week in Mississippi, the men took to the course in Northwest Arkansas this morning to compete for the Region II Championship. The Bucks have finished as the Region 2 Champions three times since 2018. There were 7 school representing Arkansas and Oklahoma in the 8K race with a total of 34 men's runners.

For the second consecutive year, the men finished as the Region II Runner-Ups in the race. 

Leading the way for the Bucks and finishing as an All-Region runner was Yermy Gonzalez (Horatio, AR). He would finish second overall with a time of 27:06.0. 

Danny Lamas (Dodge City, TX) finished 7th overall to get the top 10 finish with a time of 27:34.59.

The rest of the Bucks finished in the following order:

13th - Alfred Rodriguez (Dalhart, TX) - 28:53.81

15th - Montana Wesley (Waldron, AR) - 29:05.62

18th - Beau Reed (Moore, OK) - 29:20.53

20th - Noah Burns (Weatherford, TX) - 30:32.71

23rd - Desmond Thompson (Fort Smith, AR) - 31:06.92

The men will now have a week off before beginning their trip to Richmond, VA for the 2024 NJCAA DII National Championship on November 9th.
