(November 12, 2022) Tallahassee, Florida – After finishing third in the Region II Championship at the end of October, the Bucks left on Wednesday morning for Florida to run in the NJCAA DII National Championship at Apalachee Regional Park. The men ran in the 8K race that had 225 competitors. The Bucks finished 27th overall in the race. 

Leading the way for the Bucks was freshmen Juan Balderas (De Queen, AR), placing 162^nd with a time of 31:22.8. Directly behind him was sophomore Tyreek Gilkey (Fort Smith, AR) with a time of 31:28.3.

The remaining Bucks finished as follows:

194^th - Emmanuel Cartagena (Sherman, TX) – 33:15.3

197^th - Luis Morales (Glenwood, AR) – 33:35.1

207^th - Pablo Hernandez (Springdale, AR) – 35:31.8

The race ended the men's season. In the spring semester, the Bucks will turn their attention to the track and compete in races within the region.
