(September 24, 2022) Clinton, Mississippi - The Bucks took a couple weeks off after three straight races to rest and take care of a few injuries before making the track to Mississippi to run at Choctaw Trails this morning. The men were competing against 12 other colleges and universities. There was a total of 121 runners, and the Bucks had 5 runners in the 8K race. 

The Bucks were able to finish in 8th place in the team competition ahead of some DI competition. Pacing the men this morning was Tyreek Gilkey (Fort Smith, AR) with a time of 28:54.5, placing 55th overall. Second for the Bucks in 68th was Emmanuel Cartagena (Sherman, TX) with a time of 30:02.4. The remaining three men finished as follows:

72nd - Juan Balderas (De Queen, AR) - 30:15.4

83rd - Pablo Hernandez (Springdale, AR) - 31:32.7

89th - Christian Hernandez (Bryant, AR) - 32:08.8

At this point, the Bucks are halfway through their Fall season and will compete again next Friday, September 30th, in Fayetteville at the Chile Pepper Classic.
