(September 10, 2022) Conway, AR – For the second week in a row, the Bucks travelled east to run against several DI programs. This time, it was at the University of Central Arkansas at Beaverfork Lake. Instead of the traditional 8K race, the men ran a 5K race that saw all 8 competitors for the Bucks set personal records.
For the third straight race, Connor Hayes (Versailles, KY) led the Bucks in the race. The redshirt freshmen nearly broke the 16 minute mark with a 16:03.4 and finished 21st.
From there, the Bucks had the trio of Tyreek Gilkey (Fort Smith, AR), Luis Morales (Glenwood, AR), and Juan Balderas (De Queen, AR) finish 33rd - 35th:
33rd - Tyreek Gilkey – 17:13.5
34th - Luis Morales - 17:39.3
35th - Juan Balderas – 17:39.8
Then, another trio finished 37th - 39th:
37th - Christian Hernandez (Bryant, AR) – 17:56.3
38th - Emmanuel Cartagena (Sherman, TX) – 18:10.7
39th - Pablo Hernandez (Springdale, AR) – 18:49.7
Rounding out the finish for the Bucks, Wilson Hughes (Mena, AR) finished 41st with a time of 20:33.6.

The men will have a few weeks off before returning to the traditional 8K race. This time it will be in Clinton, Mississippi on September 24th.
