(March 1, 2025) Conway, Arkansas - After a successful indoor meet at the University of Oklahoma earlier this semester, the men kicked off their outdoor track season this morning at Hendrix College in the Hendrix Invitational. The Bucks competed against several NCAA DI and DII universities.
Yermy Gonazlez (Horatio, AR) kicked off the day for the men in the 1500 meter run. He turned in a 17th place finish with a 4:12.39 out of 53 runners. Later in the afteroon, Gonzalez competed in the 800 meter run and turned in a time of 2:00.4, which was good enough for 4th place out of 25 runners.
Jequavious McKenzie (Camden, AR) continued his strong start to the spring semester with a 5th place finish in the 400 meter dash with a time of 50.99. There were 16 runners in competition. His day ended in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.73. He would place 7th out of 25 runners.
Darryn Weaver (Diabol, TX) had one of his best runs in the 100 meter dash with an 8th place finish. He had a 11.42 in the race with 17 competitors. He finished his day in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.61 that was good enough for 14th.

The Bucks will now prepapre for the Bison Invitational next Saturday, March 8th, in Searcy, AR.
