Wilburton, Oklahoma – The Rich Mountain Bucks (2-10-3 overall; 2-7-3) faced the Eastern Oklahoma State Mountaineers (6-5-2 overall; 4-5-2) for the second time this season. The result was the same, 0-0. The match went into double overtime, and neither team found the back of the net.
Eastern led off in the second half with a shot, but Arcelia Marquez (Lubbock, TX) made the save. The save led to a series of three corner kicks for Eastern. Madison Zamudio (Mansfield, TX) and Isabel Martinez (New Hamburg, Ontario) would trade shots with EOSC. Another Eastern shot was saved by Marquez that led to Nicole Martinez (Houston, TX) and Monica Boyes (Abilene, TX) getting into the action with shots of their own. Eastern would counter late with one more shot of their own to end the half.
To start the second half, Eastern would get a corner kick, but the Bucks would counter with a shot by Isabel Martinez. EOSC would get another series of corner kicks, before Nicole Martinez would receive a yellow card. EOSC would get two shots, followed by another shot by Madison Zamudio, and then followed by another shot by the Mountaineers. The Bucks would counter with Mena native, Aliyah Ayres, getting a shot of her own, but it was wide left. Zamudio would follow with another shot in the 82nd minute, but Eastern would counter with two corner kicks after a Bucks' foul. What appear to be the game winning goal for Eastern in the last minute was called off by the official for offsides on the Mountaineers. The match would go into overtime.
The Bucks would try to get pull out the victory, but came up empty in both overtimes. Madison Zamudio would fire four shots, and Inek Johnson (Lubbock, TX) would get off one of her own. However, all would come up empty. EOSC only had two shots in both overtime periods. Leigha Wilkinson (Van Buren, AR) would receive a yellow card, and Tatum Moore (Lonoke, AR) received a red card. The Bucks played with only 10 players in the second overtime.
The Bucks (14 shots; 8 on goal) would outshoot EOSC (13 shots; 6 on goal) by one goal. Eastern doubled the Bucks on corners with 9 corners to 4. Arcelia Marquez recorded 3 saves, while the Eastern keeper recorded 8.
